ABOUT ME

I’m Lynne ….

My love for Pilates and Yoga formed when I was in my twenties. I found that both practices really helped me to de-stress and alleviate discomfort in my shoulder which had developed from sitting down for long periods in an office job. Over time, I noticed that my posture had improved as well as my overall strength and flexibility. For many years I considered training to teach others the many benefits of these disciplines and in 2019 I qualified as a Pilates Instructor.

I enjoy helping people progress - seeing and feeling the effects from regular sessions. The feedback that I have received has been very positive, with clients noticing a multitude of improvements ranging from increased strength, pain relief, improved posture, greater flexibility and better mood, the list goes on.

There are many reasons that prompt people to try Pilates and Yoga; from wishing to strengthen and tone their bodies to seeking relief for a specific problem or even having a bit of ‘me’ time and I have found that these needs are often met by regularly attending a class.

I later studied and am qualified in Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Chair based exercise. I have also taken further training to expand my knowledge on health conditions such as Osteoporosis and the Menopause and work with clients who have health conditions such as MS and Parkinsons. There is always something new to learn and incorporate into classes.

I believe Pilates and Yoga is accessible to all.
